AFW Action Editors Program

The 2-week workshop offers instruction in Final Cut Pro digital editing with the emphasis on action film sequences. Editors learn Green Screen techniques and use After Effects to create muzzle flashes, blood spurts and explosions.

Action editors work with directors and stunt coordinators on projects in a variety of film styles. They learn the action film process from pre-production to post. Finished projects are professionally screened at the closing festival, and editors leave the workshop with an external drive full of projects.
